Our pre-packaged pole systems are strong, durable, and ready for whatever you hang on them. The Complete Pole Kit includes all the necessary components, with all pieces powder-coated black for longevity.
The pole system stands 96" tall, with the bottom of the hooks positioned 90" from the ground. Each kit contains three pole sections, a twister ground socket, and a two-arm topper.
The poles are made of 1" super-strong steel that has been powder-coated black. They assemble easily, and the ground socket twists 20" into the ground to support heavy feeders and planters. The socket includes a set screw and a 1/2" turning hole for installation.
The hooks are made of 7/16" round steel with a 12" reach, also powder-coated black. These strong arms provide no bouncing or sagging.
The Decorative Basket adds 6" of height and old-world elegance to the top of the pole. The Squirrel Baffle, constructed of galvanized steel and powder-coated black, measures 16-3/4" long and 6-1/4" in diameter.
It is recommended to install the pole 8-10' away from railings, roofs, or trees, with the squirrel baffle mounted a minimum of 4' from the top to the ground.
As per EPA regulations, this product qualifies as a "pesticide device" and does not require registration with the EPA. However, the squirrel baffles and/or predator guards have not been scientifically tested for efficacy, and no claims are made regarding their effectiveness.
