The poles stand at a height of 90 inches from the ground to the bottom of the hooks. Each kit includes three pole sections, a decorative finial, a twister ground socket, a raccoon baffle, and a two-, three-, or four-arm topper.
The poles are constructed from 1-inch super-strong steel, which has been powder-coated black. They are easy to assemble, and the ground socket twists 20 inches into the ground to provide sturdy support for heavy feeders and planters. The ground socket includes a set screw and a 1/2-inch turning hole for easy installation.
The 2-arm hooks are made of 7/16-inch round steel, while the 3-arm and 4-arm hooks are crafted from 3/8-inch wrought iron with premium hand-forged ends. All the hooks have a 12-inch reach and are powder-coated black. These strong arms ensure there is no bouncing or sagging.
The raccoon baffle is constructed from galvanized steel and powder-coated black. It measures 28 inches long and 6-1/4 inches in diameter. To discourage squirrels and raccoons from accessing your bird feeders, it is recommended to place the pole 8-10 feet away from railings, roofs, or trees. The baffle should be mounted a minimum of 4 feet from the top to the ground.
The entire system boasts a heavy-duty black powder-coated steel construction, ensuring its strength and durability. The 3-piece 1-inch diameter tubular pole and the twister ground socket, which drives 20 inches into the ground, provide a sturdy and reliable support system for your outdoor needs.
